Instrumental ensembles range from The Sherman Symphony Orchestra, a full symphony orchestra playing regular subscription concerts, to the Austin College Band, the Greater Texoma Jazz Ensemble, the Austin College Chamber Orchestra, and a number of chamber ensembles. Membership in all Austin College ensembles is by audition, usually in the fall semester, and open to any Austin College student.
